In a keynote, Heike Nowotnik, Managing Director of IT and Michael Noll project leader of the digital health network of the AOK Federal Association, one of the biggest German health insurers) gave information on the digital health network DIGEN of the AOK community.
“At the beginning of the DMEA, Mr Spahn wanted a creative firework display of value-added applica-tions from the health insurers. Of course, we are happy to fulfill this wish. Our core idea of the Digital Health Network is to create added value. In fact, the benefits of core ePA are quite manageable, “said Heike Nowonik.
Michael Noll summarizes his speech in three points:
“First: Without added value, there will be no digitization. We have to start from the user, that is from service providers and insured persons.
Second: Data that is not used are meaningless. We do not want to build data sinks, but a network with real use cases.
And third: Enough talk – we just have to start! So, contact us and let us work together on the Digital Health Network.”
